Shimamura Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 1-602-1 Kitabukuro-cho, Omiya-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama; President: Iichiro Takahashi) will conduct a "Clothing Collection" campaign from Monday, April 6th to Sunday, April 19th, at all Shimamura Group stores (Shimamura, Avail, Birthday, Chambre, Divalo), excluding those on remote islands. Since its launch at select stores in 2024, we have collected over '210 tons' of clothing. This time, we are expanding the number of participating stores to allow even more people to take part. ■ Purpose of the Clothing Collection The Shimamura Group has positioned "Continuing and Evolving Towards Zero Product Waste" as a key ESG issue and implements a "zero waste" policy by selling every last product. (We do not dispose of surplus inventory.) To further evolve this initiative, we are conducting this clothing collection to aim for "zero waste" for clothing that customers no longer need after purchase. ■ About "Shima-Eco"
