Shift Plus Inc. (Representative Director: Yuya Nakao; Main Office: 3070-1 Miyamaru-cho, Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture; Headquarters: Edobori Center Building 8F, 2-1-1 Edobori, Nishi-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; hereinafter "Shift Plus") is pleased to announce the release of new "Annual Leave Application" and "Withdrawal" features for the smartphone app version of its "AMS" attendance management system for local government employees.
■ Complete leave applications on your smartphone. Enabling smooth workflows from outside the office.

The "AMS" smartphone app, released on April 1, 2025, is available to employees of local governments that have implemented the internet connection option. Previously, it supported "clocking in/out" and "approval processing," helping to streamline operations for many local government staff members.
This update adds the "Annual Leave Application" feature, which was the most requested functionality. This allows employees to apply for leave due to sudden illness or while out of the office or on business trips, all from a single smartphone.
Additionally, we have introduced a "Withdrawal" feature for users who wish to cancel their own applications. You can now withdraw your own applications on your smartphone, whether they were originally submitted via the app or through a computer (browser) inside the office.
This eliminates the hassle of having to return to the office or open a computer just to withdraw a request when plans change while on the go. By enabling the entire process—from application to withdrawal—to be completed from anywhere, we are strongly supporting the establishment of more flexible work styles in local governments, such as telework and direct travel to and from work sites.
※ Local governments currently operating AMS exclusively within an LGWAN environment are not eligible for this app.
■ Future updates planned
The "AMS" smartphone app will continue to be updated to improve convenience, reflecting the feedback of our users—the local government employees.
※ The specific timing for additional features has not yet been decided.
We appreciate your continued support of Shift Plus and "AMS."
■ What is AMS?
AMS is a local government employee attendance management system that allows for easy, centralized attendance management in the cloud. It is an LGWAN-compatible cloud-based attendance solution for local governments (with an internet option available), featuring easy clocking via IC card, various application capabilities, and the ability to create approval workflows.
It eliminates the need for data entry and aggregation previously required by paper-based management, with everything completed within AMS. Clocking information from IC cards and various application data are reflected in the attendance register. Furthermore, through CSV integration with payroll systems, it significantly reduces the workload for relevant departments. Developed with a focus on what constitutes ease of use for local governments, this application enables the transition of attendance management from paper to digital.
Additionally, if the internet option is implemented, AMS can also be used via a smartphone app.
