DPVR Announces 'RoboPilot', a PCVR Solution for Robot Remote Operation and Training

DPVR, a leader in VR, XR, and spatial computing, has announced 'RoboPilot,' a PCVR solution for robot remote operation and training.

RoboPilot was developed leveraging DPVR's technology as a remote operation base supporting robot control and data collection. Key features include:

- High-Precision 6DoF Data and Millisecond Latency Transmits 6DoF data of head and hands from PCVR devices in real-time. It supports low-latency operations for tasks such as dangerous work.

- Cost Reduction and Lightweight Design By omitting display modules, the hardware cost is reduced by approximately 40% compared to conventional all-in-one VR device configurations.

- Robot Learning Data Foundation Beyond remote operation, it can be used to collect operation data necessary for imitation learning and skill acquisition.
