Previously, utilizing paid plans for this service required individual inquiries and contract procedures. With this update, users can now make card payments directly from the administration screen, gaining immediate access to all paid version features. This allows developers and companies preparing for commercial service releases to eliminate waiting times for administrative procedures, enabling faster implementation and public release.

Background of the Update

Since its launch in September 2025, "YubiOn FIDO2 Server Service" has been used by many developers, advocating for "the fastest Passkey adoption." Previously, transitioning from the free plan for small starts to the paid plan for commercial use required inquiries and individual responses from our company, which could result in a lead time of several days for implementation.

However, with the increasing sophistication of recent cyberattacks, Passkey implementation for services has become an "urgent" matter. To meet the needs of development sites that want to "establish a commercial environment on the day they decide to strengthen security," we have decided to fully automate the administrative process. This automatic payment support minimizes friction from contract to service start, providing a world-standard secure authentication environment more easily than ever before.

Upon completion of payment, account restrictions are immediately lifted, and paid plan features (such as expanded MAU limits) are activated. Upgrades can be made 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of our business hours or holidays.

From checking current usage to changing plans and managing payment information, everything can be completed intuitively on the administration screen.

・ Improved Scalability

Flexible operations such as "conducting verification with a free plan and immediately switching to a paid plan for production release" are now possible, supporting implementation tailored to growth speeds, from startups to large-scale services.
