Customedia Builds 'Scrollcafe' Senior Online Community for Scroll

Customedia Co., Ltd. (HQ: Osaka, Representative Director: Koji Miyazaki) has built 'Scrollcafe,' a senior-focused online community site launched by apparel mail-order major Scroll Co., Ltd. (HQ: Shizuoka, Representative: Tomohisa Tsurumi). In aging Japan, social isolation among seniors, particularly women in their 50s and older, is a critical issue as they face digital barriers. Scrollcafe aims to provide a safe place where these women can share their daily lives, express themselves freely beyond their family roles, and connect. Key features of Scrollcafe include: 1) A safe members-only community for Scroll users; 2) Posting and interaction features to share daily events and fashion tips; and 3) A feedback loop to reflect user comments directly into next-generation product designs. Customedia served as a collaborative partner, working closely with Scroll to design a senior-friendly UI and address operational challenges, rather than just acting as a system vendor. The platform aims to become an industry benchmark for senior communities.
