Connecting 1 Million Talents Worldwide to Realize an "Autonomous Decentralized Career Society"

Our company endorses April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day for announcing dreams. This press release is the dream of "SemiLattice LLC."

SemiLattice LLC (hereinafter, SemiLattice) has been active as a co-creation community, advocating for a "Global Community Company," where Japanese people worldwide can design their lives and careers based on their "strengths" and "passions (intrinsic motivation)," and connect with peers to execute their plans.

Currently, as it approaches its first anniversary in February 2025, SemiLattice has connected with approximately 60 talents across 15 countries, already realizing various projects and collaborations with companies. It has contributed to the formation of "autonomous decentralized careers" centered on individual passions and strengths.

To expand this further across society, we dream of connecting with 1 million talents worldwide.

*Why 1 million people?

SemiLattice aims to create a "world where you can trace friends of friends" by connecting small communities (approximately 100 people each) scattered around the world and multiplying the relationship spheres of each individual.

For example, if there are 30 locations with 100-person communities each, that's 3,000 people.
If each of those individuals has a relationship sphere of about 300 people,
then approximately 1 million connections will spread beyond that.

What we aim for is not to "gather many people," but to "create a state where relationships circulate."

It is said that human relationships have layers, and there is a certain range for the number of people one can stably maintain relationships with, or connect with as acquaintances. SemiLattice defines a "relationship sphere where one can recall and connect with someone when needed" as approximately 300 people.
When each individual's 300 relationships connect, it becomes not just a community, but a "network of relationships."

■What is the "Autonomous Decentralized Career" that SemiLattice aims for?

SemiLattice advocates for an "autonomous decentralized career."

This is a concept where individuals respect their own desires, make autonomous decisions, and act to advance projects, rather than being managed by someone else.

Respecting each individual's "I want to try" and taking on challenges with peers.

By bearing the judgment and responsibility oneself, it is also possible to simulate preparation for independence.

First, try within the community, then confidently take it outside.

Such a process is unique to a community.

A self-exploration x planner utilization workshop for women was developed as a real event. Due to its popularity in London, it quickly expanded to online sessions.

■The Origin of This Dream

The concept of SemiLattice originated from a personal experience.

Kaoru Kamata, the representative, moved to London accompanying her husband's overseas assignment. At that time,

She strongly felt the question, "Does a career not continue unless you belong to a company?"

However, at the same time, in London, a city where diverse people gather, she witnessed numerous moments where new projects and jobs were born from human connections.

From that experience, the idea of "a society where careers are born from communities" emerged.

Some creators in SemiLattice describe it as feeling like their "career OS has been updated." This is a shift in perspective from a company-centric career view to an autonomous decentralized career, where one nurtures their career by connecting with diverse people based on their strengths and passions.

Our dream is to "create a society where 1 million talents worldwide are connected."

It is a society where people's strengths and passions are not isolated but found within relationships and blossom through co-creation.

A career is not something built alone but something that emerges from relationships. And in the future, starting from London, we aim to expand the talent ecosystem by creating community hubs in various parts of the world.
