Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomohiro Akutsu) will introduce Tesla's Supercharger, a rapid charging station for electric vehicles developed by Tesla Japan G.K., at a Seven-Eleven store for the first time. Operations will begin on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Seven-Eleven Kawasaki Komoguchi Higashi store.
Enhancing Rapid Charging Infrastructure Compatible with NACS for EV Users
By installing Tesla’s NACS-compatible Superchargers at Seven-Eleven stores, we aim to create a more comfortable and versatile charging environment. With a maximum output of 250kW, vehicles can achieve sufficient practical charging in approximately 15 to 30 minutes, allowing customers to conveniently charge while shopping.
Going forward, installations will be considered primarily at stores with ample parking space. We plan to gradually expand Supercharger deployment, targeting approximately 10 locations by the end of fiscal year 2026.

About Tesla Supercharger
Tesla Supercharger is one of the world’s largest rapid charging networks, with over 80,000 units globally.
In Japan, Tesla operates 744 Superchargers across 150 locations, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south (as of end of May 2026). Most of Japan’s rapid charging stations with over 150kW output are Tesla Superchargers. Tesla believes it is essential to establish a seamless charging infrastructure that allows EV owners to charge quickly and easily anywhere. Tesla will continue expanding its charging network so owners can simply plug in and charge, no matter where they go.
