Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomohiro Akutsu) and UCC Ueshima Coffee Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo; President: Hiroshi Shibatani) will launch 'Seven Cafe Hydrogen-Roasted Coffee Iced R,' developed jointly, at 7-Eleven stores nationwide starting Tuesday, April 7.

'Hydrogen-Roasted Coffee' is an innovative product that uses a 'large-scale hydrogen roaster'—the first of its kind in the world successfully mass-produced by UCC—to achieve zero CO2 emissions during the roasting process. Following the launch of the hot version in October 2025, we are now adding an iced version to our lineup. By utilizing hydrogen roasting technology, we have created a coffee with a satisfying body yet a clean, clear taste, highlighting a refreshing 'clear aftertaste.' It offers a different flavor profile from standard Seven Cafe coffee, making it enjoyable even for those who dislike the bitterness of coffee.
