Seiko Watch Corporation (Chairman, CEO & CCO: Shinji Hattori, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is launching a limited edition model from <Credor> featuring a beautiful Urushi lacquer dial with a deep blue gradient and high-relief maki-e. Scheduled for release on Friday, June 5th, the recommended retail price is 5,500,000 JPY (tax included), limited to 25 pieces worldwide.

Since its inception in 1974, <Credor> has fused exceptional technology with delicate sensibility, pursuing the highest quality while spinning a unique identity. The brand name, meaning 'Golden Crest,' symbolizes the belief in reaching the pinnacle of quality and beauty as a Japanese dress watch brand.

At the upcoming Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, where the brand will participate for the first time, we will exhibit this model, which embodies the brand message 'The Creativity of Artisans,' for the first time globally.

[Product Features]

A deep blue gradient dial that elevates traditional lacquer art to a modern level. The greatest appeal of this work lies in the dial, where traditional lacquer art, innovation, and the high skills of artisans are fused. The gradient, which transitions quietly from black lacquer to deep blue, is a rare color in traditional lacquer works, exuding a unique presence. This beauty is rooted in the unique Japanese aesthetic of finding depth and beauty in silence.

12 indices, the 'CREDOR' logo, and the 'Goldfeather' at the 6 o'clock position are all drawn using high-relief maki-e. The shadows created by this delicate and three-dimensional technique bring depth and rich expression to the dial. Platinum powder is used for the maki-e, creating a beautiful contrast with the deep dial color.

The case is made of platinum, inheriting the design of the masterpiece 'Goldfeather,' a thin mechanical watch. Born in 1960, the 'Seiko Goldfeather' was a pioneer of thin mechanical watches, and <Credor> inherited the name in 2023. It has been updated with specs and designs suitable for a modern dress watch.

The Caliber 6890 movement used in this model is consistently assembled, adjusted, and cased by highly skilled watchmakers at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio.
