"Furano Nature School" was established with author So Kuramoto, known for "Kita no Kunikara," as its director, and conducts programs in Furano City, Hokkaido. Seibu Zoen Co., Ltd. began operating this environmental learning program in 2014, utilizing the course within the National Government Showa Kinen Park (Tachikawa City, Tokyo) with the same concept. The program within the park allows participants to experience four courses-"Green Classroom," "Barefoot Path," "1m Earth," and "4.6 Billion Year Earth Path"-over approximately one and a half hours. Dedicated instructors dramatically explain the grand story of Earth's past and the evolution of life, making it a fun way to learn about global environmental issues.
