SECURE Announces Major Update to Cloud-Based Access Control System "SECURE AC Cloud"

SECURE, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Tatsunari Taniguchi, Securities Code: 4264, hereinafter "SECURE"), which provides business solutions to solve corporate issues through "AI (Image Analysis) x Security", announces the launch of new features "VS Cloud Integration" and "QR Code Authentication" for its cloud-based access control system "SECURE AC Cloud".

As part of efforts to accelerate retail DX through AI implementation in physical spaces, it enables integrated management of entry/exit logs and recorded video, and digitization of guest management. This reduces operational hurdles at multi-location stores and offices and supports more advanced security operations.

Background Conventionally, in environments where an access control system and a surveillance camera system are used together, each system operates independently. Therefore, even in cases where there is a suspected authentication error or unauthorized intrusion, it required a great deal of effort to verify the situation, such as checking the time of the entry/exit log and then manually searching for the corresponding time on the camera system side.

SECURE has implemented this update to lower this "verification hurdle" and realize "everyday security" where anyone can easily grasp the situation.

Main New Features 1. "VS Cloud Integration": Verify video from logs with one click Through API integration with the cloud-based surveillance camera system "SECURE VS Cloud", it is now possible to directly play video of the corresponding time from the entry/exit log. - Grasp the before and after situation Video can be played not only for the moment of authentication but also for up to 3,600 seconds (1 hour) before and after authentication. Suspicious movements before and after entry/exit can be checked without missing a thing. - Serverless multi-site management Through the integration of cloud services, logs and videos from multiple locations can be centrally managed on a browser. You can check the situation from anywhere without going to the site.

2. "QR Code Authentication": Reducing management efforts and realizing contactless operations Enables access control utilizing smartphones, eliminating the need for physical IC cards. - Supports batch registration and automatic generation In addition to issuing individual QR codes for each user, it supports batch registration and generation using CSV files. Registration work for hundreds of people can be completed in a short time. - Guest and external system integration Advance sending of QR codes to temporary visitors and integration with external reservation systems using the AC Cloud API are now possible (*), promoting the automation of reception tasks.
