Our company endorses April Dream, an initiative to declare dreams on April 1st. This press release is the dream of "NPO MORE Planning."

Fire department water rescue training (Hamamatsu City)

Protecting the sea and saving lives is not just for special people.

Do you remember the 〇〇 Rangers you admired as a child?

Their "job" wasn't to help people or contribute to society.

Normally, they were florists, delivery drivers, chefs, beauticians, students...

They lived their everyday lives, but would rush to the scene when an emergency arose.

They were heroes who appeared with a "role" while maintaining their usual selves.

What we want to create is a place to nurture such people.

Protecting the sea and saving human lives is not something only special people who have made it their "profession" can do. Moreover, in Japan's future, those who are active professionally will not be enough.

Be a diver, Be a hero.

We want to make this phrase commonplace.

The two types of heroes this school will nurture

■■Underwater Cleanup Divers■■

Divers who cleaned the waters of Ito Port

We plan to offer various courses, starting from introductory garbage collection diving experiences, up to courses aimed at becoming paid volunteer divers for MORE Planning's "Izu Peninsula Marine Debris Cleanup Project" These divers remove submerged garbage from the seabed, accumulated waste at the bottom of ports, and fishing nets entangled at the base of corals with their own hands. Carrying a cylinder, they are heroes from the moment they decide they want to clean the ocean.

■■Water Rescue Divers■■

Public-private joint water rescue training

Currently, in Izu, when a drowning accident or water incident occurs, the task force team of private water rescuers is simultaneously contacted. However, there is a need to promote the next generation of people who can rush to the scene of such accidents and incidents from a private standpoint. We want to train divers who can jump into life-or-death situations at moments when public institutions cannot reach. The pre-operation is "Underwater Cleanup x Water Rescue Training in Hamamatsu City."

Both roles are for paid or unpaid volunteers.

We hope to nurture people who can rush to an emergency and "do what they can."

That is our wish.

Target Audience

A place that transforms "I want to try" into "the ability to do."

This school is a place that transforms the feeling of "I want to try" into the ability to act.

Underwater cleanup and water rescue, though seemingly different, both require judgment, skill, and teamwork to act safely. You can learn these fundamentals and acquire a new role while continuing your current life.

Working as a salaried employee on weekdays, training regularly.

And being prepared to rush to the scene in an emergency.

Just like a "weekend hero."

This is a school where anyone, from those who have "never dived before" to those who are "currently diving as a hobby or profession," can aim to be a hero and improve their skills.

In other words, it's a place where you can start by "learning."

That first step will change the sea and your future.

Background of this Dream

Underwater search training

NPO MORE Planning has continued its activities rooted in coastal areas. Underwater cleanup, water rescue support, diving instruction, and holding workshops. Through accumulating on-site experience, a reality has become clear.

First, the number of divers is decreasing.

Veteran divers are aging, and the personnel supporting the field have become a handful.

Skills are disappearing without being recorded...

And training to protect the lives of rescuers is still insufficient.

We want to enhance the techniques and knowledge cultivated by private organizations together, so that divers from the fire department and Japan Coast Guard can return safely. Creating a situation where rescuers are not harmed is also part of this dream.

"Actually, I admired heroes" - we are certain there are people who feel this way.

Therefore, we will create a school for heroes, by heroes.

We are looking for people like this
