<About Revenue>
In addition to marketing initiatives, including the rollout of new TV commercials, and high evaluations from many customers, such as winning first place in three categories of "Price.com Automobile Insurance Satisfaction Ranking 2026," sales of our main product, automobile insurance, performed strongly. We have also diligently worked to expand our customer base by delivering insurance products and services, centered on cancer insurance, through alliances with partner companies. As a result of these efforts, the number of policyholders*1 as of the end of March 2026 exceeded 1.39 million. Consequently, net earned premiums*2 reached 64,556 million JPY (up 11.8% year-on-year), net premiums written*3 were 45,551 million JPY (up 15.1% year-on-year), underwriting income was 45,577 million JPY (up 15.1% year-on-year), and ordinary revenue was 46,819 million JPY (up 15.8% year-on-year), all setting new record highs.
<About Expenses>
Meanwhile, underwriting expenses were 32,149 million JPY (up 17.1% year-on-year), selling, general and administrative expenses were 12,007 million JPY (up 5.8% year-on-year), and other ordinary expenses were 8 million JPY (down 9.6% year-on-year), resulting in total ordinary expenses of 44,715 million JPY (up 14.5% year-on-year).
<About Profit>
As a result, ordinary profit for the current period was 2,103 million JPY (up 51.0% year-on-year), and net profit was 1,706 million JPY (up 40.7% year-on-year), both updating to new record highs.
