SBI Traceability Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Fumihiko Hayashiguchi, hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that its traceability service "SHIMENAWA" has been adopted for the natural turquoise jewelry sold by Rogues Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Konan-shi, Shiga Prefecture; Representative Director: Kiyomi Hoshi, hereinafter "Rogues") under the jewelry brand "LFC JAPAN."

Rogues' "LFC JAPAN" handles jewelry products using natural turquoise, each with unique characteristics. Previously, they created and issued paper guarantee cards detailing information such as the origin and designer for each product. However, managing information through paper media presented challenges in long-term storage of product-linked information, referencing information after purchase, and transferring information during secondary distribution.

In light of these challenges, Rogues decided to introduce digital guarantee cards (gemstone appraisal certificates) that combine blockchain technology and NFC tags. This will clarify the authenticity and provenance of each product, creating an environment where purchasers can appropriately access necessary product information.

The NFC-equipped guarantee cards featuring our "SHIMENAWA" will link a unique ID assigned to each product with its information, recorded in a tamper-resistant manner on the blockchain. This enables centralized digital management of product information. Consequently, background and production details for each item can be continuously managed and referenced even after purchase, establishing an operational foundation that visualizes product value and stories over the long term.

The Company aims to provide an environment where information linked to tangible assets is properly recorded and managed, allowing purchasers and businesses to verify information reliably. Moving forward, we intend to leverage this guarantee card system and "SHIMENAWA" to offer services that facilitate the appropriate transfer and verification of product information in the secondary market.

By tapping the NFC-embedded card with a smartphone, customers can access various information and background content linked to the product.
