SawariSe and SCC Launch "SoraNote", an App for Easy Drone Flight Log Recording and Management

SawariSe Inc. (Headquarters: Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City; Representative Director: Koji Shibata) and SCC Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kunihiko Kasuga) launched the flight log app "SoraNote" on May 20, 2026. SoraNote is a service that digitizes the cumbersome manual work associated with recording and managing flight logs for drone operators and businesses, making flight log creation and management easy.

What is SoraNote?

SoraNote is an app that allows drone operators and businesses to digitally manage flight logs, inspection and maintenance records, etc. By simplifying the creation and management of flight logs, which are often done manually, it reduces the burden of daily record-keeping and supports the safety and security of drone operations. This service was developed by combining the strengths of SawariSe Inc., which operates a drone school business and possesses practical knowledge, and SCC Inc., which has strengths in system development and information services.

Current Situation and Challenges in Flight Log Management

In recent years, the use of drones has expanded into various fields such as agriculture, inspection, and disaster response.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) mandates the recording and management of flight logs for specific flights from the perspective of safe operation, and also recommends recording flight logs for non-specific flights (*). On the other hand, many sites still manage flight logs using paper or spreadsheets, facing challenges such as "time-consuming creation," "troublesome to write," and "difficult to find when requested for submission." SoraNote was born out of the desire to alleviate the burden of flight log management and to ensure that flight logs are not just a "troublesome obligation."
