The hometown tax portal site "Satofull", operated by Satofull Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hiroaki Fujii), solicited works (photos, catchphrases, and episodes) to promote the appeal of specialty products for two months from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026. The project was planned with the aim of providing more people with opportunities to experience the charms and specialty products of various regions across the country, and a total of 100 works were submitted. As a result of a rigorous selection process, a total of 16 works were selected as winners for the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Special Award, and the results will be announced on a special website on March 26, 2026.

Grand Prize <General Division> Beyond the ripened fruit. The deliciousness of sunshine born from time and effort... Anpo Persimmon (Pen name: Anpo Persimmon Lover) This photo shows the very scene of harvesting persimmons grown in the Iisaka area of Yanagawa-cho, Date City, peeling them one by one by hand, fumigating them with sulfur, and then hanging them in the "kakibase" (drying area). Every year, I return home to help with this process from harvesting to peeling, fumigating, and drying. For me, the arrival of winter is marked by this work. Date's anpo persimmons, by being finished without sparing any effort and while carefully observing the condition of the persimmons and the weather, develop a freshness and juiciness not found in other dried persimmons, a beautiful translucent orange color, and a clear, high-quality sweetness in the aftertaste. The anpo persimmons that Date City is proud of are a deliciousness that goes beyond the fruit, nurtured by human hands, experience, and the blessings of the land.
