Sapporo Real Estate Development Supports "MACHIGOTO SUSTADIUM," a Community Event for All Generations in Yebisu Garden Place and Surrounding Parks

Sapporo Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiyuki Tomioka) will provide special cooperation for the first-ever Japan hosting of the "FIBA 3x3 SHIBUYA CHALLENGER," an international basketball tournament organized by FIBA (International Basketball Federation) and co-hosted by Shibuya City and the Future Design Shibuya general incorporated association. The company's support extends beyond merely providing the tournament venue at Yebisu Garden Place; it also involves proposing and backing the event with participatory content for all generations that utilizes surrounding parks, thereby creating a new venue for interaction and a place where inspiration is born.

In addition to the international basketball tournament, this event is scheduled to feature programs related to social issues such as education, environmental consideration, regional revitalization, and diversity, including school visits by overseas teams and environmentally friendly tournament operations. Sympathizing with the tournament's purpose, and as a real estate operator that has walked alongside the Ebisu community for over 30 years, our company has leveraged its deep understanding of the town's characteristics, navigability, and networks to propose an event that utilizes the parks surrounding Yebisu Garden Place. This has led to the decision to hold the stamp rally-style event "MACHIGOTO SUSTADIUM," in which a wide range of people, from children to adults, can participate.

Last year, our company announced the "Ebisu Urban Development Strategy" aiming for "a town where inspiration is born," and is promoting eight actions to realize this vision.
