Sanwa Computer Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Minoru Motonaga; hereinafter "Sanwa Computer") will officially launch "Round Master TURF," a cloud-based course management system that digitizes golf course maintenance to improve operational efficiency and quality, on March 31, 2026. This system is a practical service equipped with features that reflect on-site needs, developed in cooperation with Taiheiyo Club, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Han Jun; hereinafter "Taiheiyo Club").

For over 50 years, Sanwa Computer has supported the resolution of management issues for golf courses across Japan as a manufacturer of core golf course systems. Although course management is a critical operation at the heart of golf course administration, it has been an area where IT adoption has lagged, facing challenges such as reliance on individual expertise, difficulties in technical succession, and the need to adapt to environmental changes. To address these issues, we began developing a system to realize digital transformation (DX) in course management with the cooperation of Taiheiyo Club.

Following a pilot implementation at the Taiheiyo Club Yachiyo Course in October 2025, the system underwent repeated on-site verification and functional improvements. As of March 2026, it has been in preliminary operation across all 19 courses managed by Taiheiyo Club nationwide. Based on these achievements, we are now launching "Round Master TURF" for golf courses across the country starting March 31, 2026.

This system allows both experienced course managers and less experienced staff to share information, thereby improving work efficiency and quality. By fostering the creation of high-quality courses, it contributes to enhancing the customer experience and increasing repeat visitors, while promoting the DX of course maintenance.

Features of Round Master TURF "Round Master TURF" is a cloud-based system that allows users to record work details, including photos and information, directly on the course using smartphones or tablets. It promotes the DX of course management by utilizing accumulated data.

Key features include: - Work record registration - Daily/monthly report aggregation - Course condition recording - Work planning (scheduled)

Because course management staff can share information in real-time, the system contributes to tracking work progress, standardizing quality, and streamlining operations.

Moving forward, we are committed to further enhancing the system by incorporating AI analysis technology. We are looking into implementing AI-assist functions, such as suggesting optimal work timing and predicting risks based on accumulated turf conditions and work history.
