LEONARD will launch upcycled products as hometown tax return gifts for Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, starting Wednesday, April 15, 2026. This project marks LEONARD's first initiative with the hometown tax program, realized through collaboration with Katsuyama City, home to its production base. LEONARD's Philosophy on Upcycling Founded in 1958, 'LEONARD' is a Parisian brand known for its gorgeous multi-color prints. Upcycling, which utilizes unused materials and elevates them to new value, is an essential part of the brand's approach to manufacturing. The printed fabrics we have created so far represent the brand's history and are a vital asset. By utilizing them, we are developing new products through craftsmanship and creativity.

Backed by these efforts, we will continue to broadly communicate the value of manufacturing and the appeal of the region and technologies behind it through the new format of the hometown tax system.
