Salt Consortium Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Morio Inoue) will open "eatlet all day kitchen" (hereinafter referred to as "eatlet") on March 30, 2026. While functioning as a dining hall for a staff dormitory, it is designed to be a city dining space open to the local community.
This project is part of a meal service for residents of a staff dormitory operated by Daiwa LifeNext Co., Ltd. Salt Consortium Co., Ltd. has been contracted to operate the facility, developing it as a new dining space that is open to the public.
We are intentionally opening up the dining scene—once confined to the "inside of a home" as a dormitory cafeteria—to the city.
While valuing its function as an employee benefit, eatlet embodies the desire to expand its value to the city as a place that connects with local residents and visitors to the park.
A place that is both a cafeteria and an extension of the park "eatlet" is a coined word combining "eat" and "parklet," which refers to a space where a portion of a road is utilized as a social space for people. We want to be a "food oasis" where anyone can drop by casually. This sentiment is embedded in the name.
Whether it is a moment of relaxation with a cup of coffee or a meal on a special day, this place has as many uses as there are visitors, showing a different face at every moment.
A food experience that accompanies your scenes throughout the day. In the morning, we provide dishes that are gentle on the body and satisfying, helping residents start their day calmly as part of the dormitory meal service. With the premise of being eaten daily, we aimed for a balance of nutritional value and satisfaction while being mindful of salt and oil content. We are also committed to a pricing structure that is sustainable.
From daytime through the evening, as an open city dining space, we aim to be a place where diverse people—from families raising children and seniors to nearby workers—can spend time comfortably at their own pace. During dinner, while the environment is open to the general public, we also provide menus for dormitory residents (at resident pricing), fulfilling our role as a residential meal service.
From a light lunch to a relaxing cafe visit, or a dinner shared with family and friends, the menu composition and the use of the space shift naturally according to the occasion.
Nutrition and taste, price and satisfaction, the everyday and a touch of the extraordinary. Rather than leaning toward any one of these, we value a "just right" feeling that accompanies the rhythm of daily life.
Rather than being a special place, we aim to be a presence naturally chosen in everyday life. eatlet quietly blends into the daily landscape, softly connecting people to people, and people to the city.
The expression of the food changes according to the time of day. (Menu examples below)

The future form of a cafeteria, connecting home, food, and public nature The forms of housing are diversifying, and the ways we work and live are changing significantly. Along with this, the role of the cafeteria is also changing.
For residents, it is a place where they can eat with peace of mind every day; for local residents, it is a dining spot they can drop by easily. By fulfilling both roles, we aim to be a place that loosely connects the home and the city.
eatlet will take root in the community, not as a special restaurant, but as a place naturally chosen in daily life.
