We are evolving from mere "integration" to a "unified experience." All customers can use Slack without setup or additional cost, allowing teams to focus on rapid decision-making and action without the hassle of searching for data. Key new features are as follows:
All new Salesforce customers can start using a free Slack workspace connected to CRM data: A Slack workspace will be automatically generated simultaneously with the creation of a Salesforce instance, seamlessly connected at no additional cost. Teams can immediately begin collaborating on Slack while retaining CRM data and context, and CRM updates can be made directly from Slack.
Within Slack, all Salesforce customers can access "Slackbot," the ultimate AI teammate: Teams can call up Salesforce records and proceed with their work while maintaining context, without leaving their current screen. "Slackbot Skills" allow users to build and share automated, reusable operations across multiple tools. Furthermore, Slackbot performs actions such as sending messages, creating channels, and launching workflows on behalf of the user. Email and calendar actions can also be completed within Slack. In the future, its scope will expand to include CRM operations (call logging, deal updates, case management).
Slack's latest features make it easier for sales representatives to focus on priority tasks: The newly added "Today" view aggregates high-priority messages, calendar events, and urgent tasks from various applications, including Salesforce, onto a single screen, allowing immediate grasp of what needs to be addressed now. The "Activity" tab organizes and displays items requiring action, preventing omissions in work.
