Our company endorses April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to announce dreams.
This press release is the dream of "Sai Group Co., Ltd. Shichirinya."
Arimatsu Main Store Manager and Okami (Manageress)
We currently operate three yakiniku restaurants called "Shichirinya" in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Our company name is Sai Group Co., Ltd.
Our history began with the establishment in 1988 (at that time, we operated a privately owned yakiniku restaurant called "Saisei" in Katamachi).
Sai Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1992. The Arimatsu Main Store opened in 1995, the Nonoichi Store opened in 1997, and the Sakurada Store opened the following year. For 34 years since our founding, we have been developing suburban yakiniku specialty restaurants.
### Taking Over and Moving Forward
Currently, the second-generation president, Kayo Iwamoto, has taken over. While inheriting the predecessor's authentic yakiniku spirit, she is implementing initiatives such as creating a workplace where women can thrive, characteristic of a female president, and introducing the "Okami system" (stores with a caring manageress who looks after customers). By optimizing the working environment through improvements for employees, we aim for long-term stable and sound management.
Recently, we received the Director-General for Policy Planning, Minister's Secretariat Award at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' Excellent Food Service Industry Awards. We are further committed to striving as a better company and store for the community.
Our company's stated dream is "Shichirinya in Your Town."
No matter how delicious the food, or how energetic and attentive the staff are, the distance from home is an unavoidable barrier to来店. There are many other restaurants on the way, so people will generally choose a nearby one. Shichirinya's dream is to have "My Town's Shichirinya for customers" at intervals of about one store per area where three junior high school districts overlap. We operate daily with this dream as a tangible goal, not just a fantasy.
We often hear customers say, "I wish there was a Shichirinya closer to home" when they leave. We plan to expand our stores so that we can become an indispensable part of our customers' lives.
Our Proud Products
Beyond that, we envision forming community ties with those who work for us and those who come to eat. We want to be a company that is supported by families and local residents, making them say, "It was good to work at Shichirinya!"
We aim to be a company that nurtures the community, where students can write "I worked at Shichirinya!" on their resumes during job interviews and be told, "Oh! You sound promising!" We are working towards our dream of becoming "Your Town's Shichirinya."
Today, we eagerly await our customers with our brightest smiles.
