【July 2026 Online Course: Foreman Education (with Safety and Health Manager)】Convenient Online Course Schedule Released

Aim Safe LLC offers convenient online courses for "Foreman Education (with Safety and Health Manager)" as mandated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, which can be taken from within the company or at home.

The schedule for July 2026 has been released.

According to Article 60 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, employers whose business falls under the categories specified in Article 19 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act Enforcement Order must provide safety and health education to foremen and other persons who directly supervise or instruct workers during work, newly appointed to such duties.

Due to the revision of the Industrial Safety and Health Act Enforcement Order, as of April 1, Reiwa 5 (2023), "food manufacturing (umami seasoning manufacturing and animal and vegetable oil and fat manufacturing were already covered)", "newspaper, publishing, bookbinding, and printing processing industries" have been newly added to the industries requiring safety and health education for foremen, making foreman training mandatory.

*Traditionally, the target industries for foreman education include construction, manufacturing (excluding some), electricity, gas, machinery repair, and automobile maintenance.

These industries also require foreman qualifications due to organizational changes.

Aim Safe's foreman education is statutory education mandated by "Article 60 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act."

"Employers whose business falls under the categories specified by Cabinet Order must provide safety or health education, as prescribed by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Ordinance, to foremen and other persons who directly supervise or instruct workers during work (excluding work supervisors), newly appointed to such duties, regarding the following matters."

If a General Safety and Health Manager is appointed, contractors other than the employer who appointed the General Safety and Health Manager and who perform the work themselves must appoint a Safety and Health Manager [Industrial Safety and Health Act Article 16].

Furthermore, in medium-sized construction sites (generally construction sites with 10 to 49 workers), if a person equivalent to a General Safety and Health Manager is appointed, related contractors are required to appoint a person equivalent to a Safety and Health Manager [Heisei 5 Kihatsu No. 209-2].

【Foreman Education (with Safety and Health Manager)】

This course is for those who are scheduled to be appointed as foremen in industries requiring education, such as construction, manufacturing (excluding some), electricity, gas, machinery repair, automobile maintenance, food manufacturing (umami seasoning manufacturing and animal and vegetable oil and fat manufacturing were already covered), newspaper, publishing, bookbinding, and printing processing industries, and those who are scheduled to be appointed as safety and health managers. It is a 14-hour curriculum course designed to acquire necessary knowledge and practical skills.

*A 14-hour completion certificate based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's education implementation guidelines will be issued within approximately 3 business days.
