Great Value Set with Sado Island Experiences and Round-Trip Ferry Tickets! "Sado-venture!" Launches "Plan with Ferry Ticket"

(General Incorporated Association) The Sado Tourism and Exchange Organization has begun selling the special excursion ticket "Plan with Ferry Ticket" on "Sado-venture!", the activity booking site for Sado Island.

This product is a package plan that combines various experience products handled by our organization with a "round-trip ferry ticket" between Niigata and Sado Island at a great value, utilizing a grant from the Cabinet Office for the promotion and maintenance of specific remote border island communities.

You can freely combine the type of ship (Car Ferry 2nd Class or Jetfoil) and the route (round trip or circular route between Niigata Port–Ryotsu Port, Naoetsu Port–Ogi Port).

Furthermore, this fiscal year, the plan fees vary for "1 night, 2 days stay on Sado" and "2 nights, 3 days or more stay on Sado," making it an even better deal for those who stay on the island for three days or longer.

The plan fee will be the sum of the experience fee for each product plus the following Sado Kisen ferry charges.

We offer a rich variety of Sado-specific cultural experiences, from outdoor activities like trekking and marine sports characteristic of Sado Island, the hangiri (tub boat) experience, a taiko drum experience by the world-renowned taiko performing arts group "Kodo," to crafting small items with Sado's traditional "Sakiori" weaving, and a pottery experience with "Mumyoi-yaki," designated as a national traditional craft.
