Rooftop Beer Garden “World Beer Fest 2026 feat. YEBISU” Opens May 29 at 130 Meters Above the Kansai Airport Waterfront

Star Gate Hotel Kansai Airport, a 256-meter-high landmark tower located across the bay from Kansai International Airport in Izumisano, Osaka, will open a limited-time rooftop beer garden at Beer Salon Patio 28 on the 28th floor from Friday, May 29. The venue is a rooftop space 130 meters above ground, offering sweeping views to the north, west, and east along with an open-air atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the sunset over Osaka Bay, aircraft taking off and landing at Kansai International Airport, and the glittering city lights all at once, creating a true “rooftop beer garden in the sky.” This year’s theme is “World Beer Fest 2026 feat. YEBISU,” centered on enjoying beers from around the world. Taking advantage of its location opposite Kansai International Airport, the hotel offers a special experience overlooking Japan’s “gateway to the world” while sampling international beers. The drink lineup features YEBISU beer and a wide variety of other selections. In addition, “Bacardi & Dewar’s Night” events will be held every Saturday in July and August, adding extra sparkle to weekend evenings. The food menu includes the popular freshly grilled steak, returning again this year. Guests can enjoy the live cooking experience as chefs grill steaks in front of them, along with a buffet-style selection of Japanese, Western, Chinese, and world-inspired dishes suited for pairing with drinks. Menu examples include freshly grilled steak, loaded fries, chicken wings, spare ribs, boiled shrimp, thick-cut bacon, onion rings, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, dim sum, smoked duck, Cobb salad, smoked salmon, sushi rolls, chilled tofu, edamame, and more. The drink menu includes Sapporo YEBISU draft beer, YEBISU Premium Black draft, Sapporo Black Label draft, Corona Extra, Hoegaarden White, Budweiser, Heineken, Carlsberg, the low-alcohol beer Sober Satan, Sapporo Polestar sparkling wine on tap, whisky, shochu, chuhai, red and white wine, sake, cocktails, non-alcoholic beers, soft drinks, and more. To commemorate the opening of Yaho Brewing Osaka Brewery “Yona Yona Beer Rise” in Rinku Town this July, Yona Yona Ale will also be newly added. In case of severe weather, an indoor banquet hall will be prepared so guests can enjoy the event regardless of conditions. As a rainy-day venue benefit, Häagen-Dazs ice cream will be specially added. It is open on Fridays and Saturdays in May, June, and September; on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday, July 19 in July and August; and closed from August 13 to August 15. Prices including tax are 6,500 yen for adults, or 7,000 yen on Fridays and Saturdays in July and August and on July 19; 3,000 yen for elementary school students; 1,000 yen for children aged 4 to 6; and free for children aged 3 and under. Junior high school students and older are charged the adult rate. A special opening price of 5,000 yen for adults applies on May 29 and 30, excluding other discounts.
