Call for Poster Exhibitions and Seminar Presentations on Components, Materials, and Equipment for Photoelectric Fusion

RX Japan will host 'Photoelectric Fusion World,' a special exhibition dedicated to photoelectric fusion, within the 'Nepcon Japan Autumn' event at Makuhari Messe from September 9 to 11, 2026. This initiative aims to foster technological advancement toward the realization of photoelectric fusion and facilitate networking among engineers. At the venue, RX Japan will provide a space for companies and research institutions involved in R&D, manufacturing, and implementation to share their latest technologies and potential applications through poster exhibits and seminar presentations.

Photoelectric Fusion Garnering Attention Across Diverse Industries

Driven by the spread of AI and the rapid surge in data traffic, there is an increasing need for faster, higher-capacity, and lower-power information processing and transmission technologies in data centers and communication infrastructure. Amidst this, 'photoelectric fusion,' which integrates electrical and optical signals, is gaining attention as a critical technology supporting next-generation semiconductors, electronic devices, and communication infrastructure. 'Photoelectric Fusion World' aims to create opportunities for technical exchange by targeting engineers from sectors such as electronic devices, semiconductors, electronic components, PCBs, electronic materials, telecommunications, data centers, automotive, industrial equipment, as well as universities and national research institutes.

Technical Domains Eligible for Exhibition and Presentation

This project is soliciting participants for poster exhibits and seminar slots covering products developed for photoelectric fusion or products/technologies with future application potential. Targeted areas include photoelectric fusion core devices, advanced packaging technologies, components and materials, PCBs, manufacturing equipment/process technologies, and design/simulation/EDA.

Specific examples include core devices such as silicon photonics, optical I/O chips, and laser diodes; advanced packaging technologies including photoelectric integration, CPO, miniaturization, and 2.5D/3D related technologies; and a wide range of technologies supporting photoelectric fusion, such as optical waveguides, low-dielectric, high-heat-resistance/heat-dissipation materials.

Accelerating Practical Application through Technical Presentations and Exchange

'Photoelectric Fusion World' is designed not merely as a product display, but as a space where engineers can directly exchange information. Poster exhibitions will allow attendees to easily compare and review technologies from various companies and institutions, while seminar sessions will provide deeper insights into product development backgrounds, technical features, and future application possibilities.

By being held within Nepcon Japan, the event expects to create touchpoints with a wide range of electronics engineers from sectors such as electronic devices, semiconductors, electronic components, PCBs, telecommunications, data centers, universities, and research institutes.
