RX Japan Ltd. will hold the '19th Licensing Japan' (part of the 19th Content Tokyo) at Tokyo Big Sight from June 17 to 19, 2026. The Japanese licensing market has expanded from its traditional focus on anime and manga to become deeply integrated into people's daily lifestyles. For example, characters from long-selling confectionery brands are expanding beyond food aisles into apparel, miscellaneous goods, and various collaborations. This trend is driven by the establishment of 'oshi-katsu' (fan activities) and the capsule toy boom, creating an environment where not only characters but also brands and logos are widely utilized as properties. The exhibition will feature over 800 characters and brands from around the world, including Mizkan's 'Ajipon,' Lotte's 'Ita-Gum,' Sanrio, and Taiwan's 'BUGCAT CAPOO.'
