A 3-day program for children to discover their unknown "talents" and strengths.

Shizen Gakusha and Shigoto Gakusha, operated by the Education Division of Rui Sekkei Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka City, Yodogawa Ward; President: Yusuke Iwai), will hold a "3Days Summer Experience Event" for three days from July 21 (Tue), July 22 (Wed), and July 23 (Wed) (for elementary school 4th graders to high school 3rd graders). This experience event is a program where children can discover new "talents" and strengths they were not aware of by experiencing the professional work in fields such as food and agriculture (Shoku-Nō Mirai Juku), architectural design (Kodomo Kenchiku Juku), and business (Kodomo Kigyō Juku). It also serves as a summer free study project for elementary school students.

Background of the Event

Children have various visions and motivations regarding their future. Some children clearly state, "I want to become a professional in the field of XX (e.g., a chef)," while others say, "I don't know what I want to do." Furthermore, some children may not know specifically but want to "try new things."

However, even among children who have a specific image, it is not uncommon for them to be unsure about the "first step." This program was planned with the hope that all children will encounter new "talents" and strengths they were not aware of by experiencing professional work, and that their future will become exciting.

[About Rui Sekkei Co., Ltd. Education Division Shizen Gakusha (Shoku-Nō Mirai Juku) & Shigoto Gakusha (Kodomo Kenchiku Juku, Kodomo Kigyō Juku)]

Rui Sekkei Co., Ltd. was founded in 1972 as an architectural design company. Subsequently, in 1975, the Education Division was established, and as the cram school "Rui Juku" (currently named "Rui Juku Plus"), it has produced over 150,000 children to date. Shizen Gakusha officially started as a new business of the Education Division in 2019. With the motto of learning nature and learning from nature, it offers over 250 programs, providing children with time to genuinely engage in activities that go beyond a fleeting experience in nature.

"Shoku-Nō Mirai Juku" began as a regular course of Shizen Gakusha in April 2026. In collaboration with Rui Sekkei's agricultural business division (established in 1999), it is a practical learning program about "food," which is essential for humans, and "agriculture," which supports it, with professionals in food and agriculture as instructors. Especially in the age of AI, physicality becomes increasingly important. Food and agriculture are worlds of the five senses and the body itself. We believe that through "Shoku-Nō Mirai Juku," children will be able to discover various possibilities, including their future career paths.

Shigoto Gakusha consists of "Kodomo Kenchiku Juku" (started in 2023) and "Kodomo Kigyō Juku" (started in 2024). Similar to Shoku-Nō Mirai Juku, it is a regular course where children can learn from professionals at the forefront of their fields. "Kodomo Kenchiku Juku" incorporates Rui Sekkei's over 50 years of experience in architectural design and human resource development, with certified architects working on the front lines as instructors, allowing participants to learn about the fun and depth of manufacturing. This popular course, which started in Tokyo this spring, immediately had a waiting list.

"Kodomo Kigyō Juku" cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset from adolescence using a Silicon Valley-based methodology. In classes, professionals from the financial, sales, IT, and education fields are invited as instructors. It fosters an entrepreneurial spirit that can challenge the world and develops the ability to envision future possibilities.
