Royal Host's Signature 'Pancakes' Debut as Frozen Food! 'Summer Gift 2026' Also Available

Royal Co., Ltd., which manages the food business for the Royal Group, announced that 'Royal Host Deli,' a brand that brings the taste of Royal Host into home kitchens, will launch its first frozen version of the signature 'Pancakes'—a menu item beloved for many years at Royal Host, which celebrates its 55th anniversary this year—on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Simultaneously, the company will launch the summer-exclusive 'Summer Gift 2026,' offering limited-edition sets filled with spicy menu items recommended for seasonal gifts like Ochugen.

The new 'Pancake' product was developed with the desire to let customers enjoy the same taste served in Royal Host restaurants at home. Royal Host pancakes debuted in 1978 as a breakfast item. Inspired by American coffee shop culture, the restaurant adopted a style of griddle-baking each pancake to order from the very beginning, and it has been a long-selling menu item improved over many years.

In commercializing the pancakes, the company repeatedly prototyped and refined the product to recreate the gentle flavor, fluffy texture, and delicate melt-in-the-mouth quality of the pancakes meticulously baked one by one in the restaurant. A syrup comes with the 3-piece package. Heating the pancakes and adding the syrup spreads an aromatic fragrance and gentle sweetness, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing moment typical of Royal Host.

The 'Summer Gift 2026' collection, also launching on the same day, is themed around 'delicacies to eat in summer' and features authentic menu items that highlight the aroma and heat of spices.
