Restrictions on the Number of Media Personnel
・ Due to limited space around the venue, the number of personnel per media outlet will be restricted during the event period. If there are head offices or affiliated companies, please coordinate the number of reporters within the following limits. While often treated as sports news, those covering non-sports topics such as welfare and education programs should also coordinate with their company's sports department.
① Newspapers, news agencies, and magazines are limited to 3 people per media outlet, including reporters, editors, and photographers.
② For TV stations, in principle, ENG cameras are limited to 1 crew (3 people) per affiliated network. For those other than the shooting crew, such as announcers, the limit is 2 people per program.
Video Provision
The provision of videos on the internet, SNS, and mobile is prohibited except for companies certified by the event organizer. Therefore, applications for ENG camera coverage by internet media not certified will not be accepted.
Coverage by Freelancers
Freelancers whose publication medium is undecided should consult with the public relations representative. Coverage may be refused if it is determined not to be for the purpose of publication.
To Press Representatives
・ We cannot support visa applications for press representatives.
・ During the event period, coverage by those who have not applied in advance will generally be refused.
Bib Distribution and Media Reception
・ Bibs will be distributed at the media reception inside the finish venue. The media reception is scheduled to open at 12:00 on May 23 (Sat), the opening day.
・ For subsequent days, the media reception is scheduled to open at 13:00 each day.
・ When picking up bibs, please bring the media accreditation email from the SSTR Organizing Committee. It will be cross-referenced with photo identification (employee ID, etc.) that confirms your affiliation and identity. Please also prepare your business card.
・ During the event period, please complete reception at the media reception each day before starting coverage. We will keep track of the number of people.
・ Only those wearing bibs are permitted to cover the event. Both ENG and still photographers will be distributed and collect bibs at the press reception each day. Please consult if you are covering multiple consecutive days.
・ Due to space constraints at the coverage area, we may ask for adjustments to the number of people on site, even within the basic application quota.
・ Bibs will not be reissued due to loss, etc. If lost, you will be charged for replacement.
Coverage Locations
・ A shooting area will be provided near the finish area. There will be no press seats.
・ In the vicinity of the finish area, a designated shooting area is set up to avoid congestion and danger. However, in other areas, there are no specific shooting/coverage prohibited areas, provided that safety can be ensured without disturbing other customers.
・ For safety reasons, there are areas where coverage is prohibited. Still and ENG cameras can shoot from designated locations in the finish area.
・ When shooting in the finish area, for safety, please ensure that no equipment or part of your body extends beyond the designated line.
・ For safety reasons, the use of chairs and tall stepladders is prohibited when shooting in the finish area. We are not responsible for any injuries or damage to equipment.
・ Tripods can only be used for TV camera shooting, but please refrain from shooting from high positions using stepladders as this obstructs customers. Please note that shooting positions may be adjusted to ensure safety and better visibility for customers. Please refrain from using tripods for still cameras.
・ Please consult for interview requests with related parties. There will be no press conference room.
