The product will be available starting Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at approximately 15,800 FamilyMart stores nationwide that carry alcoholic beverages (※).

This meticulously crafted highball is made by adding only carbonated water to a base whisky inspired by the recipe of 'ORENO Amahagan World Blended,' a blended whisky co-created by Yuya Yaku, Chief Blender at Nagahama Distillery, and Junichi Hasegawa, Corporate Sommelier at ORENO Corporation. It offers a vibrant, fruit-forward finish and a smooth, rich mouthfeel. The depth derived from red wine cask maturation is further enhanced when served as a highball, allowing the whisky to pair elegantly with food—much like a fine wine. Launched in February 2026, this premium blended whisky has been exclusively served at ORENO Corporation's restaurants nationwide. It is the result of a close collaboration between Junichi Hasegawa, Manager of 'ORENO French Grands Maisons TOKYO' and Corporate Sommelier at ORENO Corporation, and Yuya Yaku, Chief Blender at Nagahama Distillery. To initiate the collaboration, Yaku visited 'ORENO French Grands Maisons TOKYO' to experience the restaurant's cuisine and ambiance alongside Hasegawa. Subsequently, Hasegawa visited the Nagahama Distillery to deepen his understanding of whisky production, enabling both to align their philosophies and desired flavor profiles. Focusing on Hasegawa's priority of 'food pairing,' the blend features red wine cask-matured malt whisky as a key component—chosen for its bold, vibrant character that complements rich red meats and enhances umami synergy in the mouth. The inclusion of a bright, clean grain whisky ensures the highball remains light and refreshing without overpowering the food, achieving high sophistication as a mealtime drink. A trace amount of smoky malt whisky adds a subtle accent and depth to the overall profile.
