Nagahama Roman Beer Co., Ltd.'s whisky brand "Nagahama Distillery" has partnered with Tomoyasu Hotei for several years, releasing numerous whiskies. To commemorate the first music festival "HOTEI FES" hosted by Tomoyasu Hotei, who is celebrating his 45th anniversary in the music industry, the event's official beer "HOTEI FES SESSION IPA" will be released.

"HOTEI FES" is where artists and audiences resonate and create together. This Session IPA was born from the wish for "a moment where music, people, and alcohol blend into one," symbolizing the excitement and emotion of the event. The keyword is indeed "session." For hops, Citra Cryo, which releases a sparkling citrus aroma, and Equanot, reminiscent of herbs and papaya, were used. Within its light 4.5% alcohol content, a refreshing aroma that passes through the nose coexists with a deep bitterness, stimulating the five senses pleasurably. The first music festival "HOTEI FES," hosted by Tomoyasu Hotei, who is celebrating his 45th anniversary in the music industry, will be held at G Messe Gunma in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, his hometown.

On the day, artists trusted by Hotei will perform, and local industries and manufacturers from Gunma Prefecture will participate, with various booths planned.

We aimed to create a drink that is different from our usual beers and complements the memories of this special festival. To ensure that even music fans unfamiliar with craft beer can enjoy it, the alcohol content has been set at a slightly lower 4.5%. We pursued a refreshing, juicy, and fruity hop aroma with excellent drinkability that quenches the throat refreshingly. We focused on the blend of several carefully selected malts to achieve an exquisite balance that combines "surprising drinkability" with "definite satisfaction."
