Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (HQ: Osaka) and Obu City, Aichi Prefecture, conducted a survey on 136 elementary school students and their parents to understand childhood myopia. The results showed that while nearly 90% of parents recognize the necessity of myopia prevention, less than half have actually implemented effective measures. The gap between consciousness and action has been highlighted, and both organizations aim to strengthen efforts in promoting sustainable eye care habits for families.
