MikaL (Michael), formerly of K-POP boy group Daikoku Danji and currently active as a solo artist in Japan and Korea, has decided to release their new song "Ghost Story ROCK - Is Someone There -", with lyrics and production by ghost story teller Kami, on M Card on Saturday, April 11, 2026. This song was first performed as the theme song for the stage play "Asakusa Ghost Story House," written and directed by Kami in February 2026, and became a topic of conversation among the audience for being "catchy" and "addictive." This is the long-awaited release. MikaL, known for their passion for ghost stories, has been deeply involved in the world of ghost stories, holding ghost story events with Kami not only in Japan but also in Korea. In this work, Kami's unique "power of words" (言霊, kotodama) combines with MikaL's emotional and powerful vocals, creating an unprecedented new expression of "Ghost Story x ROCK." Furthermore, in the music video, MikaL will showcase dance performances for the first time since their Daikoku Danji days.
