Ringrow, a Reuse PC Company, Highlights That PCs Are More Than Just Specs. Launching "Your PC Story Exhibition," an Annual Project Focusing on the "Relationship" Between People and Their PCs.

Ringrow Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toshiyuki Ikari; hereinafter, Ringrow), which operates a sales and wholesale business for refurbished PCs, will host "Your PC Story Exhibition," an annual participatory project focusing on the relationship between users and their personal computers, from March to December 2026.

For this project, we will invite submissions of memories and experiences related to users' personal computers, changing the theme and contest format monthly, including essays, haikus, and photo contests. Excellent works selected each month will be published on Ringrow's website.

Through this event, we hope that participants and visitors viewing the works will re-examine their relationship with their current computers, leading to an opportunity to cherish and use them for as long as possible.

Focusing on "Relationships" Rather Than "Objects"

While personal computers are indispensable for daily life and work, they are generally discussed in terms of functional aspects such as "specs" and "price." However, Ringrow views PCs not merely as information devices, but as "partners" that accompany people through life and share their time. By focusing on these "relationships," we believe it will lead to a shift in awareness towards cherishing and using one's current computer for a long time.

Based on an annual concept focused on the relationship between users and their PCs, this project will invite submissions with changing themes and contest formats each month. Excellent works will be published on Ringrow's official website.

We aim to create a "cycle" where one person's memories can lead to empathy, surprise, and sometimes laughter for others, generating new stories.
