Resol Corporation (headquartered in Mobara, Chiba; President: Naoto Sano), operator of the "Resol Hotels" brand, announces a special exhibition of works by Photographer Sho at the art gallery "Resol Gallery Ueno" located in the living lobby of Hotel Resol Ueno (2-9 Ueno 7-chome, Taito-ku, Tokyo), running from Wednesday, April 1 to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

As part of its commitment to creating a hotel rooted in Ueno — a district where art and old Tokyo culture harmonize — Hotel Resol Ueno has since 2024 been using the "Resol Gallery Ueno" art gallery in its living lobby to create encounters between up-and-coming artists shaping future culture and traveling guests. Past exhibitions have featured works in diverse genres including oil painting and printmaking, with participants ranging from artists with long careers in the art scene to emerging talents. The space serves as a place where travelers can casually engage with art, welcoming not only hotel guests but also members of the general public.

Photographer Sho, the fourteenth featured artist, graduated from Kitasato University and worked as a systems engineer, designer, and marketer before establishing himself as a photographer.

The exhibition will feature two main works alongside several additional pieces. The non-main works are intentionally displayed without titles or captions, reflecting the artist's wish that "each viewer who sees the works should feel and receive them freely." Visitors are invited to enjoy the experience of engaging directly with works that do not rely on words.

Resol Hotels will continue to weave irreplaceable travel "stories" through hotel operations that thoroughly respond to the needs of all travelers.
