RePlayce, a company developing career education for middle and high school students, is partnering with JALUX, a JAL Group trading company, to launch a pilot program for the 'JAL Regional Future Inquiry Program.' This initiative encourages high school students to tackle regional issues and propose policy ideas to local governments. The goal is to create sustainable 'related populations'—people who maintain diverse connections with regions even after moving away. Since 2022, 'Comprehensive Inquiry Time' has been mandatory in Japanese high schools, requiring students to formulate questions and find solutions. RePlayce updates education based on youth potential, providing practical learning. By collaborating with JALUX, which has a vast network of local governments through 'JAL Hometown Tax,' they aim to create new value. The program, offered as an option for RePlayce's 'Inquiry Plus' service, consists of 10 sessions over three months. Teachers will lead the program using provided materials, while JALUX staff, including 'JAL Hometown Ambassadors,' will provide hands-on support, including online interviews and feedback on student presentations. The pilot will run from September 2026, with five schools selected for free participation. Applications are open from June 1 to June 30, 2026.
