Rent Payment App "RentEase" Introduces New Shopping Service "RE Shopping"

PropTech Japan Inc., headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, with Mikihito Ito as director, has integrated a new shopping service, "RE Shopping," into its rent payment application, "RentEase." Concurrently, the user registration process has been significantly streamlined, requiring only an email address and password for completion, making it accessible even for users solely interested in e-commerce. The scope of RentEase points has been expanded, allowing points accumulated from monthly rent payments to be used for purchases on RE Shopping, and points earned from RE Shopping purchases to be applied as discounts on rent. Users can also earn both credit card points and RentEase points. RE Shopping is a new online shopping service by PropTech Japan. Its initial product lineup features licensed merchandise approved by Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, specifically a "Cool Cape + Support Towel Set," with plans for future category expansion. Existing RentEase users can access RE Shopping without additional registration, and new RE Shopping registrants can use the same account for RentEase's credit card rent payment service after identity verification. This service expansion addresses user requests for broader point utilization and non-rent payment uses for RentEase.
