The Background of the Dream ── The "Money Flow" in the Real Estate Industry Remains Stagnant The real estate industry is one of the industries with the slowest DX (Digital Transformation) in Japan.

The PropTech B2B market is projected to grow to 518 billion JPY by FY2030, and 99% of businesses recognize the necessity of DX. However, the reality of payment and accounting remains traditional.

Real estate management companies monthly send money via bank transfers or cash to dozens of contractors, insurance companies, and professional service providers. Brokerage firms manually process hundreds of initial expense settlements during busy seasons. For renovation and construction companies, paper invoices and FAX communication are common, and it's not unusual to wait 60 days or more for payment.

There are approximately 330,000 real estate companies nationwide. The people working there are having their time, which should be spent on property management and customer service, taken away by money processing. This is the reality of the real estate industry.

RentEase digitized the first layer—individual rent payments. However, what we saw there was the reality that the money flow of the entire industry is still stagnant in an analog state.

Payment methods are a mix of bank transfers, cash, and checks. Paper invoices and handwritten ledgers. An opaque structure where the income and expenditure for each property cannot be grasped instantly.

We want to solve this problem not just for one layer, but for the entire industry. That is the starting point of our dream.
