Born in Osaka in 1959. Graduated from Osaka Prefectural Tennoji High School. In 1989, graduated from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Molecular Biology and Developmental Cell Biology). Immediately after obtaining his doctorate, he started a business and served as a producer for international conferences on global environmental and civilizational futures, among other roles. Since 2001, he has been involved in the multivariate analysis of intellectual property, seed venture investments, and business production. He joined Astamuse at the end of 2011. He has been involved in strategic consulting for R&D and business development for companies, universities, and government agencies, the formulation of 176 promising growth areas and 105 social issues, the quantitative evaluation of global research, technology, and markets, the development of logic for future estimation and bud exploration, and the quantification of the materiality of social issues. Since 2022, he has participated in the JST "Construction of Spatiotemporal Information Infrastructure by Cloud Optical Lattice Clocks" (University of Tokyo, RIKEN) project, engaging in the exploration of potential applications and the formulation of intellectual property strategies. In October 2020, he participated in the expert meeting on "Post-Corona Structural Reform of Tokyo - Promoting DX as a Driving Force" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
