Next Creation Program: An Experience Program Where Children Learn from Forefront Professionals

The Next Creation Program is an arts and culture experiential program for children conducted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture. To enable children to learn more deeply and at a higher level, they can enter the actual sites of creation that pique their interests and receive direct instruction from professionals active on the front lines of various fields. This fiscal year, a total of six programs are scheduled to be implemented. From among them, we are currently recruiting participants for three programs: Film supervised by director Hirokazu Kore-eda, Fashion supervised by Ms. Hiroko Koshino, and Opera conducted by the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in Tachikawa and Komae. We aim to support the blossoming of rich talents while staying close to children's dreams and individualities in arts and culture. - 5 Days with Film and Me Content: Film appreciation, story creation, shooting studio tour, film production. - Children's Fashion Project Content: (1) Fashion Academy (2) Fashion Show & Backstage Experience Program. - Team Up! Opera 'Amahl and the Night Visitors' Content: (1) Become characters in an opera. (2) Making things that appear in the opera. (3) Take a look at the opera's real workplace.
