Regus Japan Certified as 'Startup Supporter' by Tokai National University Corporation

Tokai National University Corporation operates Nagoya University and Gifu University. It actively promotes entrepreneurship support and startup incubation with the aim of connecting research results and intellectual assets cultivated at the universities to social implementation.

In recent years, the Tokai region has seen a rise in university-launched ventures in diverse fields such as deep tech, medical care, AI, environment/energy, and mobility. Tokai National University Corporation has positioned the formation of a startup ecosystem as a key strategy. The organization has established a support system that consistently assists from the pre-founding stage through to commercialization and global expansion, accelerating the creation of university-launched ventures.

The 'Startup Supporter Network' for which the Company received certification is an initiative aimed at building a rapid and high-quality support system by having external companies provide specialized knowledge and functions for entrepreneurial activities by university-launched ventures, students, and researchers. The Company operates flexible offices, coworking spaces, and rental offices nationwide, with 21 centers in the Tokai region (17 in Aichi Prefecture, 1 in Gifu Prefecture, 3 in Shizuoka Prefecture). Through this certification, the Company will support the growth of university-launched startups, primarily from the perspective of office environments and business infrastructure.

The Company has previously provided flexible workspaces not only to large corporations but also to startups and growth companies, supporting the growth of diverse businesses.
