レッドクリフ、東京・お台場で開催されたアメリカ建国250周年記念イベントでドローンショーを制作・運営

ドローンショーの企画・運営を手がける株式会社レッドクリフ（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役：佐々木 孔明、以下「レッドクリフ」）は、2026年7月3日（金）、東京・お台場で開催された「Independence Day Reception 2026」（主催：駐日アメリカ合衆国大使館）において、800機によるドローンショーの制作・運営を担当しました。

本イベントは、アメリカ建国250周年を記念して開催され、会場には日米の政府関係者やビジネス関係者などが出席しました。

当日は、アメリカ・ハワイ発祥の伝統舞踊「フラダンス」が披露されたほか、日本文化を代表する寿司が振る舞われるなど、会場全体が祝賀ムードに包まれました。会場周辺は星条旗をイメージした赤・白・青のライトアップで彩られ、打ち上げ花火に続いてドローンショーがスタートしました。

ドローンショーは、「AMERICA 250」の文字と5つの星が夜空に浮かび上がる演出から始まり、「HAPPY 250TH BIRTHDAY AMERICA!」のメッセージが夜空を彩りました。

続いて、大阪・関西万博アメリカ館の公式マスコットキャラクター「SPARK（スパーク）」や星条旗、自由の女神、アメリカ合衆国の地図など、アメリカを象徴するモチーフを次々と描写。1776年から2026年へと250年の歩みを表現するアニメーションも展開されました。

また、ペリー来航の黒船をモチーフにした演出も実施。開催地・お台場の歴史にもゆかりのあるモチーフの一つとして夜空に描かれました。

歴史をつなぎ、文化を映す光の演出が夜空に広がる

ドローンショー後半では、アメリカの国章にも描かれるイーグルが日本で古くから縁起の良い鳥とされる鶴へと姿を変え、東京の象徴・東京タワーはアメリカのワシントン記念塔へと移り変わります。続いて、日本から贈られた桜をモチーフに、ワシントン記念塔の周囲に桜が咲き誇る演出を展開。歴史を越えて受け継がれてきた風景を夜空いっぱいに描き出しました。やわらかな光に包まれたその光景は、ショーを象徴する印象的なワンシーンとなりました。

さらに、アメリカ・メジャーリーグで活躍する日本人選手を想起させる演出や、宇宙への挑戦をイメージしたロケットなどが夜空に描かれ、会場からは大きな歓声が送られました。

フィナーレでは、巨大なバースデーケーキが夜空に現れ、約15分間にわたるドローンショーを締めくくりました。

レッドクリフは今後も、ドローンショーを通じて国内外のさまざまなイベントにおいて、新たな空間演出を提供し、人々の心に残る体験の創出に取り組んでまいります。

REDCLIFF Produces and Operates Drone Show for America’s 250th Anniversary Event Held in Odaiba, Tokyo

— 800 Drones Depict History and Culture in the Night Sky —

REDCLIFF, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Komei Sasaki; hereinafter “REDCLIFF”), a company specializing in the planning and operation of drone shows, produced and operated an 800-drone show for “Independence Day Reception 2026,” held in Odaiba, Tokyo, on Friday, July 3, 2026, and hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Japan.

The event was held to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, bringing together government officials and business representatives from both Japan and the United States.

On the day of the event, the venue was filled with a celebratory atmosphere, featuring a traditional hula dance performance originating from Hawaii, as well as sushi, one of Japan’s representative culinary traditions. The surrounding area was illuminated in red, white, and blue, inspired by the Stars and Stripes, and the drone show began following a fireworks display.

The drone show opened with the words “AMERICA 250” and five stars appearing in the night sky, followed by the message “HAPPY 250TH BIRTHDAY AMERICA!”

The performance continued with a series of motifs symbolizing the United States, including “SPARK,” the official mascot of the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the Stars and Stripes, the Statue of Liberty, and a map of the United States. An animation representing the 250-year journey from 1776 to 2026 was also featured.

The show also featured a motif inspired by Commodore Perry’s Black Ships, depicting one of the historical symbols associated with Odaiba, where the event was held.
