REDCLIFF, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koumei Sasaki; hereinafter "Redcliff"), which plans and operates drone shows, co-sponsored the first event of the Osaka-Kansai Expo 1st Anniversary Memorial Event "EXPO2025 Futures" hosted by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, "EXPO2025 Futures Festival." On Sunday, April 12, 2026, a special one-night-only performance of the drone show "One World, One Planet." was held at Momijigawa Lawn Square in Expo Commemoration Park (Suita City, Osaka Prefecture).

On that day, 3,000 drones danced in the Osaka night sky, unfolding a large-scale performance depicting the giant "Myaku-Myaku" and the Grand Roof Ring. The event captivated many visitors who came to the venue.

The memory of the Expo, once again, the light of that day floating in the night sky.

One year since the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

With 3,000 drones, the drone show "One World, One Planet.", which was performed on the Expo's closing day (October 13, 2025), was recreated in the night sky.

Performances that evoked scenes from the Expo were unfolded, and a great response was received from the visitors.

Additionally, the "giant Myaku-Myaku," which appeared as a surprise on the Expo's closing day and became a topic of conversation, reappeared in the night sky.

Myaku-Myaku, which appeared for the first time in six months (2,003 drones, approximately 210m height x 180m width x 65m depth), spoke in the Kansai dialect, saying "Everyone~! It's been ages!", enhancing the sense of unity at the venue.

Furthermore, as Myaku-Myaku's wish to "remind everyone of the memories from that time," a surprise performance was held to draw the Grand Roof Ring with drones.

The Grand Roof Ring (approximately 45m height x 342m width x 36m depth), recreated with 425 drones, was performed as a motif inspired by the Expo's iconic architecture.

New expressions realized at Expo Commemoration Park.

This time, the event was held at Expo Commemoration Park, the venue for the 1970 Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo).

The drone show performed at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo has returned to the same "Expo grounds" across time.

Following the dismantling of the Expo venue (Yumeshima) after its closing, the event was held at a new location. However, by drawing the Grand Roof Ring with drones, the iconic architecture of the Osaka-Kansai Expo was reconstructed in the night sky.

It became a performance connecting the past, present, and future, at a location symbolizing the history of the Expo.

A three-dimensional night sky performance where light spreads.

The approximately 14-minute show combined precise light performances by drones with flashes from flash modules, which have about six times the brightness of conventional LED lights, and dynamic elements from drones equipped with fireworks.

The venue was filled with great cheers as the lights of each drone twinkled, spread, and changed shape.

From "Watching" to "Participating." A night born from crowdfunding.

This show was realized through crowdfunding titled "[1st Anniversary Commemoration] Expo Drone Show Special Performance Support Project!!".

The initial target amount of 10 million yen was achieved in just two days after the start.

Support continued to expand, ultimately reaching a total of 29,319,334 yen from 1,870 supporters (293% of the goal).

Approximately 5,000 people, including crowdfunding supporters and winners of a pre-lottery (free) by the organizer, attended the venue at Momijigawa Lawn Square.

The "EXPO2025 Futures Festival" received approximately 400,000 applications, with about 30,000 winners, a multiplier of about 14 times. For the drone show viewing, there were about 110,000 applications, attracting extremely high attention.

Expressions in the night sky, expanded by support.

In this drone show, the scope of the performance was expanded thanks to the support of 1,870 people.

In addition to performances like the Grand Roof Ring and Myaku-Myaku drawn by drones, expressions from flash modules and drones equipped with fireworks were added, realizing a more multi-layered light performance.

It was a night where individual thoughts overlapped and were depicted as a single scene in the night sky.

Light connecting to the future.

This initiative is not only to recreate the memories of the Expo but also a new challenge to re-ignite and connect the hope and connections felt at that time to the future.

This special night was made possible by the many supports and sentiments received through crowdfunding.

Redcliff sincerely thanks everyone who participated in and supported this project.

We will continue to create memorable experiences for people through new expressions on the stage of the sky.
