■Outing Information: Spring Tradition "Noda Fuji of Kumano Kaido Shindachi-juku"

One of Sennan City's symbolic spring landscapes is the "Noda Fuji" blooming at the Kajimoto Residence in Kumano Kaido Shindachi-juku.

It is a magnificent wisteria trellis with approximately 40,000 flower clusters hanging from a single tree, and it usually reaches its peak bloom from mid to late April every year.

During the peak blooming season, the "Fuji Festival" is held, attracting many visitors from both inside and outside the city, and the wisteria trellis is open to the public for about a week before and after, depending on the blooming status. During the public viewing period, an observation deck is set up from which you can look down on the wisteria trellis, allowing you to enjoy a unique spectacular view as if a purple sea of clouds spreads out below.
