QunaSys's Popular Learning Site "Quantum Native Dojo!" Published as a Book

QunaSys Inc., headquartered in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, with CEO Tianren Yang, released a book version of its "Quantum Native Dojo!" web content on April 13, 2026. The book, published by Kodansha, is titled "Quantum Native Dojo! Learning Quantum Information Science and Quantum Computers while Implementing." "Quantum Native Dojo!" is an open-source educational resource launched in April 2019 by QunaSys to develop "quantum native" talent. It has accumulated over 180,000 accesses. The book extensively revises and expands the web content, incorporating the latest advancements in quantum computation. It covers quantum information science fundamentals, applied algorithms, quantum chemistry calculations, and quantum error correction. Practical implementation codes are provided, compatible with Jupyter Notebook on Google Colab, requiring no special environment setup. New content includes QSCI algorithms (QunaSys-developed), qubitization, and Shor's algorithm. Detailed explanations with code implementations for quantum error correction are included. A book-exclusive Chapter 0, "Basics of Quantum Computers," explains concepts without complex mathematics. The author team includes Yuya Nakagawa (QunaSys Principal Researcher, recognized in UNESCO's "Quantum 100") and Professor Keisuke Fujii (Kyoto University, QunaSys CTO), along with other researchers and QunaSys members. QunaSys aims to contribute to fostering "quantum native" talent through this publication, supporting the application of quantum computers in fields like material development, drug discovery, and optimization.
