The “2026 Takamori Sakura Festival” will be held from Saturday, March 28th to Sunday, April 12th. The festival will take place at two of Aso's most famous cherry blossom locations, “Sakura Michi” and “Takamori Pass Senbonzakura,” where visitors can enjoy the spring scenery along with Aso's magnificent nature.

“Sakura Michi” is located just a 10-minute walk from Kyukamura Minami-Aso, making it an attractive and easily accessible location for guests to enjoy cherry blossom viewing.

The “2026 Takamori Sakura Festival” will be held at Takamori Town's two famous cherry blossom spots, “Sakura Michi” and “Takamori Pass Senbonzakura.” During the festival period, food trucks and plant markets will be available at both venues, allowing visitors to enjoy a spring picnic atmosphere.
