Qeelin, a fine jeweler dedicated to sharing the richness of Eastern culture with the world, takes its name from the mythical Qilin—a legendary creature symbolizing luck and love in Chinese mythology. Since its founding, every jewelry piece, including Wulu, Bo Bo, and Xi Xi, carries profound cultural meaning, embodying the fusion of East and West by reinterpreting traditional symbols into modern, stylish designs.

2026 Fine Jewelry Collection: "A World Radiant with Life"

Rooted in the rich soil of Eastern civilization, Qeelin’s 2026 Fine Jewelry Collection brilliantly expresses exceptional craftsmanship and enduring cultural heritage. Building on founder and creative director Dennis Chan’s exploration of Dong tribal traditions last year, the Maison has elevated the silhouette of drum towers, the graceful arc of phoenix flight, and the sacred symbolism of the golden spider into contemporary design.

At the heart of each creation, gemstones stand as quiet yet powerful storytellers across time. The ever-evolving repertoire of forms deepens the artistic expanse of the "Miracle Garden," infusing richer emotion and aesthetic sensibility. At the intersection of myth and nature, Qeelin creates a world imbued with the weight of history, the elegance of ideal beauty, and the timeless radiance of culture itself.

The Essence of Dong Culture in Nature

Inspired by Dong tribal culture, Qeelin unveils a new fine jewelry collection. The chime carried by the wind delivers blessings, while lion dances and phoenix calls resonate with nature’s rhythm. Reverence for heaven, earth, and all life is elevated into refined craftsmanship, breathing modern brilliance into ancestral cultural heritage.

In Dong beliefs, the goddess Sa Tienba transforms into a golden spider, teaching the art of weaving to humanity. The Dong people have long combined the spider’s web—symbolizing abundance and fertility—with the peony, a symbol of wealth, to express wishes for creation, protection, and prosperity.

Inspired by this Spider Flower motif, the collection is crafted in white gold, with Zambian emeralds at the center of each piece. Pavé-set diamonds trace the shimmering geometry of a spider’s web, reflecting fresh green light with every movement.

Pear-shaped emeralds dangle from the earrings, while rings and bracelets feature oval-cut Zambian emeralds encircled by diamonds, reinterpreting the intricate geometric patterns found in Dong brocade through precious metals and gemstones.

"Dong Chi": The Flowing Energy of Auspiciousness, the Pulse of Life

In Dong philosophy, "Chi" embodies the life force of the universe—an eternal cycle connecting the rhythms of heaven and earth, the breath of mountains and rivers, and all existence. Qeelin elevates this concept into the "Dong Chi" fine jewelry collection, expressing the essence of cosmic life energy through dynamic forms.

The collection unfolds through two harmonizing design languages. The first, based on rose gold, features a flowing "8" motif created with oval-cut rubellites. This is a tribute to Wulu, Qeelin’s iconic silhouette, symbolizing cosmic harmony and the rising energy of auspiciousness.

The second uses white gold to express a continuous spiral motif, inspired by the Dong people’s reverence for water, snakes, and the sun. Vivid rubies and apatite, inspired by the colors of Dong embroidery, infuse each piece with festive exuberance.
