Eikei University Awards Its First-Ever Professor Emeritus Title at 2026 Ceremony

Eikei University (President: Mitsuhiro Arinobu, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City) held the 2026 Professor Emeritus Title Conferral Ceremony on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the university. The title of Professor Emeritus was awarded to Toshiyuki Yasui, former professor of the Faculty of Social System Design. Professor Yasui served as the Dean of the Faculty of Social System Design for four years from the university's opening in April 2021, dedicating himself to building the foundation of Eikei University's education and research system. He also supported student learning as an educator and researcher, and greatly contributed to the university's development as a board member of the Hiroshima Prefectural Public University Corporation. During the ceremony, President Arinobu presented the certificate to Professor Yasui and expressed deep gratitude for his achievements in laying the university's foundation since its inception. Professor Toshiyuki Yasui is the first Professor Emeritus of Eikei University.
