Proud Partners Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryuji Suzuki) will host a free online seminar titled 'Why Not Reduce Your Support Costs to Zero Through “In-House Support”?' on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00. The seminar is aimed at stakeholders of companies accepting Specified Skilled Workers and will focus on the themes of 'internalizing registration support operations' and 'organizational strengthening.'

The main background for organizing this seminar includes two key points: first, the need to reconsider the roles of host companies and registered support agencies regarding mandatory support for Specified Skilled Worker No.1, in light of the government's policy toward achieving a 'society where foreign nationals coexist,' and the upcoming stricter regulations on registered support agencies scheduled for April 2027 (stricter requirements for support services). Second, the necessity of 'organizational strengthening' by host companies to ensure the long-term retention of Specified Skilled Workers.

Since the launch of the Specified Skilled Worker program in 2019, our company has accumulated support experience for a total of 7,841 individuals and 2,000 companies, primarily in the construction and food service industries. Based on our insights into the ideal form of support gained through these experiences, we have designed this seminar to help as many host companies as possible build robust, fail-safe support systems.

Seminar Registration Deadline: July 22, 2026 (Wednesday), 13:00

This seminar will focus on two main topics: 'correct understanding of the Specified Skilled Worker program' and 'what constitutes the optimal support system for host companies and Specified Skilled Workers.'

Message from Ryo Matsumoto, Director, Proud Partners Co., Ltd.

Shouldn’t You Reconsider the Optimal Support System for Your Company?

Currently, many host companies outsource support to registered support agencies. However, it is said that many of these companies have an insufficient understanding of the division of responsibilities between the registered support agency and the host company.

Moreover, there are significant differences in the content and quality of support provided by different agencies. Some companies select agencies solely based on price, resulting in inadequate support that should have been properly implemented. Nevertheless, in such cases, the host company still bears ultimate legal responsibility under the system.

Ryo Matsumoto, Director, Proud Partners Co., Ltd.

Furthermore, stricter requirements for the support services provided by registered support agencies are scheduled to take effect in April 2027.

Given these developments, we believe this is the right time for host companies to review whether their current support systems comply with regulations. Therefore, in this seminar, we will objectively explain the following three key points to help each host company determine the most suitable support structure for their organization:

- Advantages and disadvantages of internalizing support operations for Specified Skilled Workers

- Key checkpoints when outsourcing to a registered support agency

- Future responses considering upcoming regulatory changes

Proud Partners Co., Ltd. is itself a Registered Support Agency (Permit No. 19-To-000466).

If host companies can identify and implement the optimal support system, engagement among Specified Skilled Workers will increase, and the risk of turnover due to returning home or changing jobs can be reduced.

We firmly believe that if host companies deepen their understanding of the Specified Skilled Worker program, it will lead to the establishment of new collaborative frameworks between host companies and support agencies, foster mutual understanding and support between foreign and Japanese employees, and ultimately contribute not only to the long-term retention of foreign workers and organizational strengthening but also to the realization of the government’s vision of a 'society of coexistence.'

We look forward to welcoming as many participants as possible to this seminar. (End)
